After a first successful collaboration in 2022, we are preparing for 2023 a new programme for the Aix Festival with the Ensemble Vocal d’Aix-Marseille Université (EV’AMU), directed by Philippe Franceschi, and 5 musicians from the Ensemble C Barré (saxophone/doudouk, accordion, harp, cymbalum and cello). Its theme will be inspired by the delights of eating and drinking, with a cappella works by Rameau and Delagarde, a creation by Alexandros Markeas for the C Barré quintet, 4 traditional Armenian songs orchestrated for vocal ensemble and quintet, a formation which will finally be taken over by the Cypriot composer Christina Athinodorou for her new work Un Silence Extraordinaire.
Amateur participants take part in this concert.
In collaboration with the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
Technical support from GMEM.
Support from the Société Générale C’est vous l’avenir Foundation and the Orange Foundation.
