Ensemble C Barré
C Barré, a singular instrumental ensemble made up of 12 musicians and directed by Sébastien Boin, is formed of rich, passionate personalities deeply invested in the creation and diffusion of the contemporary repertoire.
Songs and voices
In association with the Neue Vocalsolisten, Ensemble C Barré will present Francesca Verunelli's work in its world premiere at the Biennale di Venezia 2023. It will then tour France and Europe during the 2023-2024 season. This piece is a philosophical echo of Franz Kafka's "Silence of the Sirens", and questions the very notion of singing.
With Palimpseste, the Ensemble C Barré hilights musical creation during a whole season, on several territories simultaneously through the crossed views of composer Jean-Christophe Marti and artist walker, Hendrik Sturm.
Mécaniques de l’Intuition
Capture for streaming, co-produced with IRCAM - Centre Pompidou and GMEM — Centre national de création musicale, this program gives pride of place to musical creation with 4 world premieres and takes advantage of the opportunity to question the influence of mechanics within music and the vast sound imaginary it develops.
