From May 20 to 24, the Ensemble C Barré will be creating music through the crossed eyes of composer Jean-Christophe Marti, artist-promoter Hendrik Sturm and the musicians of C Barré.
The result of a year’s work in association with school partners and residents of the neighborhoods visited, these are musical walks, multidisciplinary shows and concerts.

LE SECRET DU TELEGRAPHE
MARSEILLE >> PLAN D’AOU

Through the voice of the last factionalist, this show tells in music the astonishing and zany story of the first remote communication network, invented during the French Revolution by the engineer Claude Chappe.
Taking musicians, children’s choir, and spectators in a phantasmal or real procession, it makes them discover the location of the last telegraph station, where the Secret of the Telegraph is revealed…

With the classes of the school group of Plan d’Aou (choir), Cyril Dupuy (dulcimer), Elodie Soulard (accordion), Floriane Dardard, Christophe Camguilhem (preparation of the choirs), Jean-Christophe Marti (composition), Juliette Morel (scenography and staging), Matthias Champon (trumpet), Sébastien Boin (musical direction) and Stéphane Olry (libretto)

MUSICAL WALK
STARTING POINT >> MARSEILLE >> PLAN D’AOU

Fruit of the work of the binomial artist-composer, these walks invite to perceive a territory, a place, a monument under a new glance through the walk and the music of today, through a repertoire chosen and written according to the approached places.

With Hendrik Sturm (artist-promoter), Jean-Christophe Marti (composition and artistic direction), Sébastien Boin (artistic and musical direction) and the musicians of C Barré.

Musical restitution of the work of the classes of the Plan d’Aou school group over a year, through arrangements of songs collected in the Plan d’Aou district, by the composer Jean-Christophe Marti.

With the classes of the school group of Plan d’Aou (choirs), Cyril Dupuy (dulcimer), Elodie Soulard (accordion), Jean-Chistophe Marti (composition and artistic direction), Jérémie Abt (percussions), Jonathan Robert (saxophones) and Sébastien Boin (artistic and musical direction).
