It is with great joy that I worked with the Musicatreize ensemble and its conductor Roland Hayrabedian in their creative cycle for “Musique, an 13′. This work is composed of several sonnets by William Shakespeare that I have adapted while preserving the original language:

– Music to hear I: an introduction in a game close to “hiccups”
– Slight Air: breaths, whispers, hand rubs and small melodies
– Alack: first tribute to the Beatles
– When to the sessions of sweet silent: a very soft and sad song
– Which, which, which: second tribute to the Beatles
– O! from what: where the singers finally ask the tenors to shut up with a big “shush!”
– Music to hear II: a “goodbye” from the singers to the audience.
