With a passion for contemporary music and theatre, guitarist Rémy Reber (born in 1987) explores contemporary and popular music, both in Europe and Brazil, with the same eclecticism.
He trained with Roland Dyens at the Paris Conservatoire, where he obtained a master’s degree in performance in 2014. He also studied generative improvisation and pedagogy there, and joined the 3rd cycle dedicated to contemporary music. He is a member of the WARN!NG collective and the Listen Ensemble, works with L’instant Donné and Accroche Note, and performs regularly in Paris, Europe and Brazil (Philharmonie de Paris, ircam, Radio France, KKL Lucerne, Centre Pompidou, etc.).
In 2016, Rémy Reber won first prize in the Musique du der- nier siècle de Boulogne-Billancourt performance competition. He currently teaches guitar at the Kremlin-Bicêtre conservatoire and performs in Toi et moi 10 doigts (éclats company), a contemporary musical show for very young audiences, touring throughout France
